There is now an opportunity for you to be part in the development of autonomous transport solutions. We are now looking for a Product Regulation Specialist that will be part of the Product Organization in Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S).

Who are we?

Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to develop and offer transport and material handling solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments. With entirely new business models and highly advanced technology we will meet and exceed expectations from customers, and contributing to a society that we want to live in. There are about 400 of us and together we form a team that is stronger than the sum of its parts - and is ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us.

This is the role

We are looking for a Product Regulation Specialist who will be responsible to identify and recommend which regulations to fulfil for our autonomous products, and support fulfillment of these.

You will work with the VAS organization and the legal community within Volvo Group. In addition, you will collaborate with authorities, development teams and suppliers to ensure that the applicable regulations are fulfilled.

You will be our main contact towards the authorities with regards to discussions concerning regulations for our autonomous products. This includes work with upcoming new regulations and permits for our products.

We believe you are self-driven, structured, supportive and positive with a make it happen-mindset as these abilities will allow you to succeed in this position. You're probably also open to work in a completely new context where we together are the motivators to make the future of automated transport solutions happen. As our business area is new you need to share our curiosity for new technology and want to take it to the next level.

Other criteria:
  • Strong engineering background with deep knowledge of the product development process.
  • Experience in management of product regulations (preferably for automotive products within Europe and US).
  • Relevant educational background.
  • Experience in driving change in cross-functional teams and proven leadership, communication, and pedagogical skills.
