Business Strategy Manager F/H

We are looking for a Business Strategy Manager to join our very engaged team made of 10 women & men working within a department called Business Office. Based in Lyon, our Business Office team is in charge of Partnerships, Business Development and Key Account Management, working daily in an international and multicultural environment. We care for employees, customers and planet.

Your Mission

You have the responsibility to define our segmentation strategy, identify market potential & new business pools for the Trucks business in the Urban and Regional transport market.
As a member of our X-functional Product Line organization, you drive the business input to define the future trucks platforms (electric, diesel, or gaz), by identifying the needed offer and features.
You run market prospective, data analyses, customers surveys, projections of truck business electrification and lead ad hoc strategic investigations.

Your core responsibilities

The Business Strategy Manager will be involved in the daily business operations and strategic agenda of the Business Unit, being a valued partner by:
  • Capturing , Analyzing & Deploying customer & market studies, having close cooperation with sales organizations
  • Leveraging data to enable fact based decisions
  • Defining Where to play /How to win per segment, aligning with sales forces, and balancing within the Product Line (Needed Offer, Features, Price, Market Share, Volumes)
  • Being the voice of the Market in the different projects, providing and balancing prerequisites with key focus on customers success and business improvement
  • Leading ad hoc strategic studies or support external partnerships investigations
Profile
  • You have an Engineer’s or a Business School diploma with a technical base
  • Number of years of experience required: 7 years minimum
  • You have a proven experience in marketing, product management, product planning or strategy definition
  • Excellent command of English, French and Office 365
  • You have a sound understanding of the transport industry, truck business or truck product knowledge
  • You are customer centric and able to capture pain points and needs taking a holistic perspective
  • You are able to collect, analyze and structure complex information
  • You have a good understanding of the key financial levers (sales, price, gross profit)
  • You have excellent interpersonal capabilities, you foster collaboration and practice sharing
  • You are an effective communicator
  • You are agile, you dare to take actions and to propose initiatives
Position based in St-Priest (69) requires occasional travel in France and abroad.
