Mack Trucks Marketing is pleased to announce we are hiring a Director, Creative Content. This role we be responsible for designing, creating and managing marketing content and creative in support of both lead generation and sales nurturing leading to increased brand empathy, model consideration and unit sales. This role will bring proven best practices and have a passion for content creation. The scope of responsibility encompasses all Mack Trucks in North America and may include share creative with other regions or groups outside the US.

Your responsibilities in the role will include (but not limited to):
  • Lead the development of marketing content (advertising, video, photo, etc) and be responsible for its performance.
  • Create brand, model and solution desire through video and photo visuals and editorial content.
  • Lead the development of editorial content (advertising, long form, short stories, PR support, etc) in alignment with Brand and model goals
  • Know when to think outside the box and when to apply tried and true solutions.
  • Strategically support model level imagery needs and USPs in unique and creative ways.
  • Support campaign needs through utilizing existing creative assets or creating net new assets.
  • Utilize both internal and external resources for best delivery of assets to be effective, efficient and timely.
  • Create and manage assets for new product launch activities, dealer meetings, Mack personnel field meetings and product ride and drive events
  • Uphold the Mack Brand Guidelines and where possible advance them in tune with audience demands.
Support broader marketing operational needs:
  • Manage Mack creative operations to ensure optimization and alignment with Mack strategy to support sales growth.
  • Support the development of the Mack Trucks brand platform and drive communication and engagement internally and externally.
  • Jointly responsible for developing and implement marketing group analytics in support of internal needs.
  • Responsible for organization and development marketing group presentations in support of internal needs.
  • Support cross-functional launch teams for successful introduction of new products and support launch activities in Export and Australian markets.
Managing domain areas:
  • Budget management of operational budget as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and timing requirements.
  • Develop the creative department and network within the global area of responsibility.
  • Ability to nurture staff and manage their development as well as support the development of agency partners.
Collaborate on campaign and message development:
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product peers to create BIC Mack experience for dealers and customers in all channels.
  • Manage interdepartmental relations to ensure smooth implementation of marketing programs that benefits the Mack products and solutions.

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates:
You hold a degree in relevant fields (design, marketing). A masters degree or equivalent in relevant discipline is preferred.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
  • 7+ years recent experience managing content functions.
  • 5+ years management experience
Other Requirements:
Examples of work created and/or work managed will be required.
