Job Description
We are seeking a Head of IT Security Advisory and Services who will be responsible for building the bridge between our central Enterprise IT Security organization and various key stakeholder groups, such as our software development teams, business areas, and solution architects.

This leadership position is crucial to supporting project and operational teams with advisory services to ensure an adequate security standard is maintained across our organization's infrastructure and applications.

Your main focus will be building a scalable, repeatable framework to enhance our team's efficiency and effectiveness, reduce the efforts spent on individual solutions, and ensure long-term security compliance and readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to various business areas and technology teams on all aspects of IT security, providing insights, strategies, and recommendations to improve security posture and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement a robust IT Security framework that can be reused across projects, promoting consistency, efficiency, and standardization.
  • Oversee and lead the transformation of the team into a mature, service-oriented organization, where recurring aspects are provided as packaged services that ensure a standard compliance and IT security level.
  • Collaborate effectively with different stakeholder groups, fostering a strong security culture across all levels of the organization.
  • Influence strategic direction and develop policies that will facilitate and maintain compliance with both company guidelines and external regulations.
  • Ensure the team stays up-to-date with the latest security systems, defenses, and vulnerabilities to keep our organization safe from threats.
  • Guide the team through regular security audits, risk assessments, and testing to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior IT security leadership role, preferably in a complex, global environment.
  • Strong knowledge of current IT risks and experience designing and implementing cybersecurity strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage cross-functional projects, and drive change.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues in clear and relatable terms.
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, influencing decisions and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
