Volvo Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with strategic and operational responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the Group’s properties and real estate assets – from acquisition to divestment. In the Real Estate Belgium team you will join forces with colleagues with technical expertise in various domains (HVAC, electricity, engineering, …), all in a positive and result-oriented team atmosphere. You will focus on HVAC and sprinkler projects.


Do you just love to...
  • In this job you are responsible to drive and ensure the successful realization of property development projects within cost, time and quality constraints. Your focus will be on HVAC and Sprinkler technology projects and installations.
  • You are accountable for continuously reviewing the ongoing validity of the projects and to make recommendations of actions to the sponsor and/or steering committee. You liaise closely with main stakeholders, contractors, architects and consultants during each phase of the project.
  • You are responsible to secure compliance with the Project Steering Model (PSM) in all real estate property projects and to act on behalf of the sponsor and/or steering committee to realize the project’s business case.
  • You are responsible to ensure that all requirements and objectives of the project phases are met and to manage the project team members. You follow up on progress and performance of the projects.
  • You evaluate and select local contractor for the projects in scope in close cooperation with Volvo’s purchasing team.
  • You are responsible for all project documentation, the process of orders and invoices relayed to the specific projects.


Are you the one?
  • MSc/BSc in Engineering or equal by experience
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in the field of HVAC & Sprinkler technology, including Project Management
  • Structured, analytical and pragmatic profile
  • Show high level of integrity, build relationships and trust
  • Innovative, proactive, result oriented and passionate about work, with a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Have a holistic view, act and think strategically, take ownership, drive to deliver added value
  • Good knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
