The Project Management group govern and drive program/project/construction assignments deliveries to Testing, Verification and Materials Technology (VT&MT). We aim to be experts in execute technical complex industrial program/project/construction assignments for laboratories at Group Trucks Technology (GTT).


VT&MT is responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of test and materials technology laboratories. We work both local and global to deliver high-quality results and expert functions within our areas of responsibility. VT&MT is a part of Powertrain Engineering, GTT located in Gothenburg. We have a legacy of innovation. Innovations that we do today will reshape the transportation industry of tomorrow.

About the role

As a Project Manager in Project Management group, you will together with your colleagues, plan, organize, motivate, control, and administrate resources and organizations to achieve specific results. You are responsible of meeting specified business requirements within industrialization program/project/assignment.

What characterize our program/project/assignments is that they are technical complex and result oriented. As Program/Project/Assignment Manager, you write, together with the Steering Committee Chairperson or responsible line manager or other stakeholders, the program/project/assignment directives to prepare the Gate Decision meetings. You are also responsible of identifying necessary competences and contracts the team members.

Additional responsibilities are:
  • Perform program/project/assignment Breakdown to monitor progress and performance.
  • Deliver the project objectives within the time- and budget frame.
  • Report to the Steering Committee and writing the Status and Final Report.

Who are you?

We don’t know you yet, but we believe that you are a structured and solution-oriented person who enjoys working cross-functionally and building relationships. Since we work in close cooperation with our stakeholders and other teams, you are a communicative team player with a high degree of personal responsibility. An eagerness to learn and “can do attitude” characterize your personal profile. Strong technical passion and drive make you to a natural leader of challenging tasks demanding to explore new knowledge areas.

Requirements:
  • 5–10 years’ experience of industrial projects.
  • University degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge and experience in testing and verification.
  • Experience in complex machinery deliveries/installations and hand-over to line organization.
  • Coaching skills.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken. Swedish is a merit.
