As the Head of People and Culture you will…Represent VCE in the most professional way possible. In this role, you will model our philosophy by support, align, and calibrate with VCE North America’s People and Culture team to meet common global, regional, country, and site goals. As a leader in a decentralized organizational structure, you will build strong relationships, creating a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Demonstrate passion for our business modeling integrity and credibility. Be an integral member of our leadership team driving strategic and tactical execution of all P&C processes.
Areas of Influence:Contribute to the development of a high performing organization through applied expertise in recruitment, talent, and people management, competence development, and employee wellness with a focus on ensuring succession planning and people development.
Work proactively in the areas of diversity, attrition analysis, retention strategies, and change management.
Align People and Culture actions with functional business strategies to drive performance, employee engagement, and skill development in conjunction with global & regional People and Culture plans.
Develop and implement strategic plans to develop the competence of employees at all levels of the organization.
Ensure appropriate performance goals and career development plans are in place and reflect strategic priorities.
Advise, question, and support leadership and employees on all P&C related matters. Member of the Operations, Purchasing, and Technology Leadership teams.
Develop clear workforce plans in conjunction with the P&C team to ensure ongoing business continuity. Promote professional working relationships with staffing agencies, technical schools, and Universities.
Manage effective communication and data flow among stakeholders.
Be a driving force in a collaborative process to transform the People and Culture function through digitalization and automation.
Manage all budget and forecasting related to P&C expenses/projects/programs
Manage people and culture aspects to support challenge, grow and enable people of the organization to contribute, be involved and utilize their full potential of work.
Ensure training and development is prioritized and delivered systematically. training activities in terms of reaction, learning and critical behaviors as well as its impact to organization performance.

Must Haves
University degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
Master's Degree and/or SHRM/HRCI certification preferred
8+ yrs. of progressive HR experience, leadership experience preferred
Proven successful delivery of projects on time and within budget
Ability to travel periodically (domestically and globally)
