ServiceNow Solution Architect

We are now looking for ServiceNow Solution Architect within IT Service & Asset Management

In this role, you will be part of a global team and you will be reporting to Digital Product Area Owner (ServiceNow) within IT Service & Asset Management.

As Solution Architect in a global context you will actively contribute in securing the end user, business and IT requirements for ServiceNow solution and support the full utilization of the solution.
You will interact with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements as well as technical experts from external partner concerning technical details of proposed improvements and enhancements.
It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.
You will work closely within Volvo with Solution Architects, Maintenance team, Capability Leads, Enterprise Architects and with technical specialists within external partner.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide ServiceNow capability and application design that align to industry best practices to meet business requirements.
  • Provide project management and architectural design for ServiceNow development teams.
  • Develop capability requirements to successfully execute the ServiceNow applications and achieve business outcomes.
  • Support Capacity Leads in collecting and evaluation of business requirement.
  • Identify platform and applications improvement needs.
  • Create the overall solution architecture and design.
  • Ensure compatibility with ServiceNow and utilize best practices to deliver the required outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the project to identify risks and potential issues.
  • Act as the technical expert, providing guidance on architecture and technical design.
  • Assist customers with Proof Of Concept activities.
  • Define dependencies, relationships, and integration points with other systems when applicable.
  • Identify new opportunities to provide additional value to clients and improve business performance.
Required competencies:
  • At least 5 years of experience in working for an IT delivery organization.
  • At least 3 year of total experience in requirements gathering or as business analyst.
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform from both end-user and development perspective.
  • Strong experience in Solution Architecture and Architecture Best Practices.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment.
  • Focus on quality and effectiveness.
  • Experience in collaboration with external suppliers.
  • Good business understanding or proven ability to learn fast.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work remotely with good communication skills.
