Do you want to be part of the development of our next generation battery technology? We're determined to shape the world we live in for a sustainable tomorrow. If you are too, then keep on reading! We aim to lead the transition to a decarbonized transport system and have the long-term ambition to offer our customers solutions that are 100% fossil free. This ramp-up will require large volumes of high-performing batteries, produced using fossil free energy and it is a logical next step for us to include battery production in our future industrial footprint.
As part of our acceleration journey, we are expanding with a Requirement Manager- Battery systems. Join our team now!
This is us, your new colleagues…
We belong to the Energy Storage System section, part of Volvo Groups’ electromobility division. We develop and lead the battery system product portfolio for Volvo Group globally.
At our section, we are accountable for the lifecycle management of the Energy Storage System, from advanced engineering, throughout product development into the maintenance phase including the quality management of all our products. We are highly skilled System engineers, Component leaders, Lead design engineers etc. Always there to give each other a helping hand when needed.
As a Requirement Manager you will lead the requirement management work in our battery organization. You will be part of the project team, aligning requirement structures and processes with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the Energy Storage System department. You will work through a global network of people throughout the whole value chain, securing a consistent way of working, coaching and guiding the system engineers, sub-system engineers and the component engineers in requirement management.
Your responsibility will be the requirement specification and you will initiate and lead the work to translate target and prerequisites into requirements. Defining, implementing and further developing an appropriate requirements management process for Energy Storage Systems, ensuring requirement traceability, quality, structure, integrity and consistency within a project or product. In addition, you will implement and further develop a requirement structure in the defined requirement tool. Collect, consolidate, own, and maintain the generic ESS requirements in the defined requirements management tool. You will build and maintain a team of well-trained Energy Storage System requirements engineers.
