Technical Documentation & Communication Specialist


Volvo Trucks Sales and Order Engineering is looking for a new team member who can bring energy, passion, and drive to our high-performing and dynamic organization.

Additionally, you will focus on communicating, documenting, and organizing technical information to our dealer network achieving our customer satisfaction goals and improving our relationships with them.

As our Technical Documentation & Communication Specialist you will be responsible for creating and communicating key information to the dealer, maintaining online dealer and Sales and Order Engineering workspaces, and documenting and refining internal processes.

This Is How You Could Make an Impact:
• Create Trucks Dealer Portal Sales and Order Engineering workspace. Execute updates, maintenance, and new content for dealer communication.
• Create and maintain an online repository for regularly updated information for dealers.
• Issue communication to dealers explaining new system features, product offering, vehicle packaging requirements, material shortages, best practices for creating truck specification in VSS, and Introblock bulletins.
• Develop product bulletins related to sales code information linked in TSP with the ProBuilder and Marketing organizations.
• Develop reporting to monitor usage of Trucks Dealer Portal Sales and Order Engineering workspace.
• Create and maintain an online resource for Sales and Order Engineering.
• Develop interactive dashboards to support Sales and Order Engineering.
• Refinement of and documentation of processes related to dealer and Sales Engineer workflow for quotation and order processing.
• Refinement of and documentation of processes related to Customer Engineering and Sales Engineering workflows as it relates to quotation and order processing within TSP and CAQ.

Who are you?
You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related discipline or equivalent experience required. You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within engineering, technical sales, or service area. Preferred experience within heavy duty trucks and/or Volvo Trucks.

Additionally, you will have:
• Thorough knowledge of Sales Policies and Procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of TSP, TM2, CAQ, ProBuilder, KOLA, EDB, PowerBi and mainframe systems.
• Working knowledge of dealer sales operations/trucking industry or related sales environment.
