Customer acceptance analysis promoting equality with new Technologies

The need for adapting the firms to new technologies as well as business are driven by the needs for sustainable development, and enabled by technological advancements such as electromobility, autonomous vehicles and connectivity. Still and having Agenda 2030 as focus, these technological advancements require an inclusive perspective on how the future customers will consider the new way of working and how they adapt the new concepts.

Based on above, this thesis focuses on creating understanding about important criteria to create inclusiveness considering behaviors and acceptance when adapting emerging technologies.

Suitable background
Master of Science or with dedicated students, a Bachelor of Science in; Industrial Engineering and Management; Design and Product Development; Energy – Environment – Management; Sustainable Business Management or similar level of education

This thesis project focuses on creating understanding about important criteria to create inclusiveness for future personas, and students are expected to develop a tool for behavioral and acceptance evaluation. The work will include literature review to identify important criteria’s, actors, and development of tangible tools to use to create inclusive design for our future customers, also targeting equality target in the Sustainable Development Goals. The thesis project will be conducted as a case study.
