Solution Center Volvo Trucks Aftermarket
Aftermarket services are critical to ensure a premium customer experience and guarantee long-term customer loyalty. The Solution Center Volvo Trucks Aftermarket has the responsibility to deliver and optimize the associated IT solutions thereby continuously improving customer and user productivity in their daily operations. We enable a multitude of customer services from profitable spare parts sales, reliable quality monitoring and novel uptime services. We take pride to connect and collaborate in order to deliver our services in close agile cooperation both within the Volvo Group and with our suppliers.
The department is based in Gothenburg, Curitiba and Bangalore and we have a strong focus on new development in order to provide our end customers with the latest technology. Our main stakeholders are Volvo Trucks and GTT.

As a Software Engineer at LAAM (Latin America Aftermarket) you will work on a regional team providing Aftermarket solutions related to Spare Parts, Dealers back-office support, customer loyalty tools and services in a fast paced environment which is a key enabler for reinventing our digital experience in the Volvo Aftermarket world and Volvo customers. You will be a key player in creating the new solutions and supporting foundation legacies in close collaboration with business and other stakeholders. To succeed in this particular position, you will need to interact with others and enjoy presenting and sharing the vision of what we are creating for the future. Further, it is important to be actively involved with problems at hand, have a critical and positive view of different solutions and willing to drive change. All activities take place in a multi-paradigm environment, mixing the new and the traditional.

Your main activities and responsibilities
• You will dive deep into one or more of our tools to understand and translate requirements into actionable features
• You will work cascade and agile according to the project
• You will work with backend and frontend applications
• You will design and develop cross-platform services
• You will help to support legacies by executing changes, upgrades or responding to customer incidents
• You will follow ITIL standards, open changes, defend on change meetings and provide instructions for doers
• You will collaborate with the other developers and the business analysts to improve our applications
• You will collaborate with the other developers/architects to perform troubleshooting and handle all level of incidents
• You will stay up to date on emerging technologies
