Senior Internal Communication Analyst

We’re looking for an engaging, driven internal communications Senior Analyst to join our team at Volvo Trucks Latin America. Reporting into the Head of Human Resources for Volvo Trucks & Buses, this is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to take accountability for designing and delivering an internal communications strategy. You’ll work in close partnership with our leadership and wider communication teams to develop an inclusive plan that utilizes the best of digital communication tools.

Your mission
The overall mission is to translate Volvo Trucks Latin America’ business strategy into engaging internal communication. To achieve this, you need to have a deep business understanding, be able to adjust communication to different i target groups and find new ways to spark dialogue and increase understanding of our strategy and direction.
You will have the overall project management responsibility for selected internal communication initiatives. This includes setting up communication plans, securing messages across channels, creating content, execute the plans and follow up to maximize the impact.
The role also includes work with quarterly business updates, to make sure that our colleagues are up to date with where we are heading as a company. Another part of the job is to be a strategic communication business partner to headquarter functions.
You will work closely together with our market companies in Latin America, as Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru.
You will support the markets with communication plans and execution, making sure the business strategies and targets come alive, contribute to employee engagement and secure consistency with Volvo Trucks Latin America’ overall strategic communication agenda.
You will also be editor for the regional intranet, newsletters, and other internal channels.

This is you
You have an academic degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or similar and several years of experience in the field, working in a large, complex matrix organization.
You have a deep understanding of both the internal and external communication arena and many years of work experience in the communications field. You switch easily from strategic planning and coaching others, to more hands-on tasks like creating content and organizing events.
Most of all we value your excellent communication skills and ability to engage, motivate and inspire others – but equally important is that you also have a strategic mindset, a clear business understanding an open and outgoing personality.
You are fluent in Portuguese and English and are an experienced storyteller and writer, driven by a strong outside-in perspective. Additional fluency in Spanish will be highly desired.
In addition, you have a customer and business-oriented mindset with experience from managing the needs of stakeholders from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
We also think you are passionate about and have experience in finding new ways to increase attention and engagement in a digital media landscape, both internally and externally.
In addition, you are highly adaptive and effective both virtual and cross-cultural environment, and you have a good command of Office 365 digital tools, as good knowledge in modern communication tools.
