Tax Analyst

In your role, you will work to guarantee the compliance on the tax routines, support current and new operations and provide solutions for the process and activities already in place. The Tax Analyst is a good communicator able to explain changes in tax law to the Business Areas, Information Technology Department and Authorities. You will be responsible for analysis, documentation and keeping the dialogue with different stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Prepare and deliver high quality compliance tax calculation for indirect tax (ICMS, ICMS/ST, IPI)
  • Prepare and report ancillary obligation to tax authorities (SPED, GIA/ST).
  • Check tax law changes and report them to the team, Accounting, Corporate Tax, Business Areas and IT Department.
  • Support and provide information to the internal and external auditors;
  • Be the focal point for NF changes, Mastersaf DW and tax schemes, supporting the tax compliance and Business areas in decision making processes.
  • Improve the processes by developing digital solution based on tools like Alteryx, Microsoft office 365 (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc)
  • Forecast tax predictions to the managers.
.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, management or law
  • Demonstrated satisfactory level tax and accounting knowledge confirmed through related work experience
  • Advanced English level, fluency will be considered as an advantage.
  • SAP, Excel, Mastersaf DW, Alteryx, Microsoft office 365 (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc), - fully proficient desired
  • Self-motivated and ability to take initiatives
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills are also essential, as you’ll have to ensure our company meets tight deadlines
