What You Will be Doing
As a Lead Engineer Durability, you will work as a durability expert within product development. Your primary mission will be to verify and validate the design life of complete vehicles, systems, and components in close cooperation with the engineering departments. You will identify actions and acceptance criteria to fulfill durability targets. The actions can be simulations, calculations or physical tests in rigs or complete vehicles. You will also actively find new ways to understand our customers’ applications and their expectations on our vehicles. You will work closely with test engineers to improve our test methods and test codes and identify verification needs for new technologies.

What We Are Looking For
  • Master of Science degree in Engineering
  • 12 years of engineering experience in heavy duty truck, automotive, or a related field
  • Proven experience with durability related engineering responsibilities (testing, simulation, FEA, statistical analysis, DAQ, data analysis, etc)
  • Experience with requirement setting of components and systems.
  • Experience from virtual simulation and analysis (structural, vibrational, temperature etc.).
  • Experience in using quality tools e.g. FMEA to identify different failure modes and mitigation actions.
  • Engineer who currently holds CDL, or desire to hold CDL, required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
