Financial Accountant Volvo Group (FTC)
Location: Warrick with Hybrid Working

At Volvo Group UK we are looking for Financial Accountant to join our Financial Control and Accounting Team (FCA). FCA is responsible for financial compliance in all legal entities within the Volvo Group.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the period end reporting as well as reconciliation of assigned balance sheet control accounts.

This fixed term contract based at our head office in Warwick with hybrid working. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and evolving environment with a great team and culture. Your Responsibilities…
  • Timely and accurate period end accounting for the assigned elements of Volvo Group UK Limited.
  • Compliance with UK GAAP, IAS and internal Volvo Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP)
  • Reconcile all key balance sheet accounts under area of responsibility in preparation for monthly balance sheet proof review. Investigate issues.

Who are you…

You will have a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), have current knowledge of technical accounting standards and of financial control environment. We are looking for great team player who works well under pressure, has a willing to learn, develop and contribute quickly to the team. You will have a great eye for detail, have good problem-solving skills and be able to work using your own initiative.
