Senior Software Engineer - ReactJS

What You Will Do
In this role, you will be a React Developer in the Digital Product Factory team and a driver for planning, developing, and implementing user interface. You will be working with designers and software engineers to develop modern & intuitive user interfaces, with a high focus on great user experience. You will focus on continuous code improvements to optimize performance and optimize solutions for maximum speed as well as collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of total IT experience
• Minimum 3 years of recent practical experience in React.js
• Experience in JavaScript and Node.js (connecting to APIs in Node.js env)
• Knowledge of Progressive Web App principles
• Working experience with HTML5, CSS3 & responsive web design
• Browser testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
• Hands-on experience in code repository / CI&CD including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitLab and other
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Experience in SCRUM methodology is an advantage
• Experience from mentoring and technical coaching, as well as experience from a technical responsibility role (e.g., making and defending technical decisions within the team and externally to safeguard the team — using soft skills to anchor the decision).
• You take an interest in the business needs and the full picture of what the team is doing (e.g., how the technical components will interact with external factors).
• Experience from building toolkits/components/storybooks/libraries that other people use, good understanding of patterns for distributing them and challenges that can arise, with good understanding on Microfrontends, routing/CDN challenges, reusable components etc.
