Our production facilities

Volvo Group has factories in 18 countries. In addition to our production sites, our industrial operations include several product development centers, parts distribution centers and logistics centers. There are also assembly plants operated by independent companies at 10 locations around the world.

Our operations are organized to focus on our customers and harness the Group’s resources to meet their needs in the best possible way. This approach offers important synergies by having global organizations for product development, manufacturing, and purchasing, but still clear leadership and responsibility for each of our brands and business areas to make sure that customer needs are understood throughout the entire organization. Volvo Financial Services

Formed in 2001, VFS is the finance arm for the Volvo Group, one of the world’s leading providers of transport solutions in the truck, construction equipment, bus and marine industries. Volvo Financial Services can tailor a flexible financial solutions to help you buy or lease your vehicle or machine and keep it running for as long as you own it. 

You will find us in nearly 50 countries, with more than 1600 employees worldwide. Our headquarters are located on the Volvo Group’s North America campus in Greensboro, North Carolina. 


Volvo Group Venture Capital

Volvo Group Venture Capital is Volvo Group’s investment company. We facilitate partnerships not only across industries but also with new entrants who are, or have the potential, to become key partners in driving service orientation and product differentiation. 

Volvo Group Treasury

Volvo Group Treasury, the Volvo Group internal bank, coordinates the Group's global funding strategy and financial infrastructure. It is also responsible for the management of all interest-bearing assets and liabilities and the execution of foreign exchange transactions. 

Truck divisions

Our truck divisions are the backbone of our internal operations,
overseeing the R&D, purchasing and production that makes
everything we do at Volvo Group possible.

Group Trucks Operations

Volvo Group’s global truck operation organization encompasses all production of the Group’s engines and transmissions as well as all production of Volvo, Renault, Mack.

The organization also includes spare parts supplies to the Group’s customers as well as logistics.

Group Trucks Technology

Volvo Group’s global truck technology and product development organization is responsible for technology research, engine development, product design and all the technology and product development linked to truck operations, as well as supporting the products in the aftermarket.

The organization has almost 10,000 employees working in global teams with focus on delivering world-class engineered products and services.

Group Trucks Purchasing

Volvo Group’s purchasing organization is the global group function covering the purchase of automotive products and parts including aftermarket, for all truck brands in Volvo Group Trucks.

The organization also covers the Indirect Products & Services (IPS) Purchasing.
