The Volvo Group, the leader in transport and infrastructure solutions, announced today it has expanded its CampX Innovation Hub in North America to include a new state-of-the-art collaboration space located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Innovation Lab by Volvo Group in Silicon Valley hosted the 2023 Service Design Summit, a three-day event that brought together a diverse group of designers, portfolio managers, and service development professionals from Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks North America, and Volvo Group Connected Solutions.

Finally, it seems that everyone has caught up and AI is everywhere. Or, at the very least, everyone is talking about it. AI technology, although not that recent, has reached large scale commercial viability and is now evolving rapidly. Every week new AI based tools pop up and everyone is locked into this increasingly challenging game of catch up. Well, I have identified some areas where AI assistance will be of particular help in software development.

EVs represent a move towards sustainability and reduced environmental impact, while autonomous vehicles have the potential to revolutionize transportation, improving safety and efficiency.

Lockouts and lost keys are common pain points experienced by truck drivers, resulting in long delays and downtime. This prompted Innovation Lab at Volvo Group in Silicon Valley to develop a solution called Smart Access that would eliminate lockout incidents and promote uptime for drivers and fleets.
