Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Volvo Group means to be a good corporate citizen. It is about taking social, ethical, economic and environmental responsibility for our business within our sphere of influence and control risk in these areas.

The overall objective is to maximize our contribution to sustainable development.

Our CSR work is built on four cornerstones

Economic responsibility
– Principles we shall follow and activities we are conducting to create long-term value for customers, society, shareholders and other stakeholders

Social responsibility – Principles we shall follow and activities we are conducting to create long-term relationship with our stakeholders such as employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Environmental responsibility – Principles we shall follow and activities we are conducting to minimize the negative environmental impact from our products and operations

Social contribution – Projects and activities we are conducting to contribute to the development of the society
