Our team consists of more than 500 people from 40 different nationalities.

We build trucks not only for the Australian market but also export to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.

1972 Volvo Trucks first established a production facility in 1972, building heavy duty trucks in Wacol, Brisbane, Queensland.

2002 Mack is integrated into the factory. Australia becomes one of the only factories producing both Mack and Volvo under the same roof.

2014 Axle assembly is bought in house to ensure higher quality products.

2017 The factory receives Australia Made certification due to the high level of locally made components.
