Vénissieux Plant

The Vénissieux plant’s main activity is the assembly of several products, including 11, 8, and 5 liter engines, front and rear axles, electromobility components such as the Power Box and Module Under Cab, as well as cargo bikes. These products are used in all Volvo Group applications: trucks, buses, construction equipment, marine and industrial engines.

"It has been more than 5 years that I have been lucky to work as a Production Operator at the Vénissieux Plant. My job is to carry out various assembly operations on our engines. I'm proud of our products and proud to work actively on their design in our terrific plant.

Since we have integrated axles assembly, which has allowed everyone to acquire new skills and welcome new colleagues. I have personally been on track to develop my versatility, taking advantage of the opportunities to increase my responsibilities through internal training.

I'm constantly acquiring skills and knowledge about how the entire production line works, meaning that I can offer real support to my colleagues. My source of motivation is the commitment and utility of every individual: a true collective dynamic of continuous improvement is at work, and we all have something to offer!’’
