Volvo FH wins Fleet Vehicle of the Year award in Poland

The Volvo FH has won the 2007 Fleet Vehicle Award in the Fleet Awards Polska Trucks category in a ceremony held recently in Warsaw. The award was organised by two fleet and transport publications in Poland, ‘Flota’ and ‘Samochody Uzytkowe’, in cooperation with the Fleet Management Institute of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Trucks category of Fleet Awards Polska aims to recognise the best fleet truck on the Polish market. The voting was accessible over the Internet and votes were submitted by fleet managers and readers of ‘Flota’ and ‘Samochody Uzytkowe’. The nominated trucks were the DAF XF105, Iveco Stralis, Renault Premium Route and Volvo FH.

The Volvo FH took first prize and the award was presented to Pontus Stenberg, General Manager of Volvo Truck Center Poland, at the official Fleet Awards Polska 2007 ceremony held on April 26 in Warsaw.
