Volvo Penta´s new IPS1050 propulsion system has recently been installed in "Performer" - a multi-functional catamaran. This vessel will soon be delivered to Northern Offshore Services in Sweden and will go straight into duty in an offshore wind power park south of Denmark.
Volvo Penta will also launch an upgraded electronic platform, EVC-D, that offers a complete series of new controls with a high level of styling, ergonomics and overall driving experience. New EVC functions, all easily managed through push-buttons on the control head, are also introduced.
