Diesel engines from Volvo Penta power a new tender boat for the world´s most luxurious super-yachts.
Tender boats are used to transport the passengers to and from super-yachts. At the Monaco Boat Show 2012, the Italian boat builder
Dariel introduced a 31 feet stowable tender boat that caught the eyes of the super-yacht builders.

“dLimo” is a unique combination of design and comfort with propulsion power from twin Volvo Penta D4 Aquamatic.

The first boat has already been sold and delivered to the 260 feet super-yacht “
Chopi Chopi”. This is the largest yacht ever built by the Ferretti Group Company
“CRN”, one of the world´s most prominent super-yacht builders.
“The owners of these super-yachts have extremely high demands, and we are pleased that we can match their requirements”, continues Paolo Buzzini.
As a result of the increased demand,
Dariel is now in the midst of making a 39 feet and a 56 feet version of the “
dLimo”, designed with Volvo Penta D6 Aquamatic and Volvo Penta IPS900. The Italian dealer Nordovest Motori will also support and be a vital part of this project.
