(CHESAPEAKE, Va.) – Feb. 12, 2014 – Volvo Penta has named two MarineMax dealerships in Florida as servicing dealers for Volvo Penta engines.
Under the dealer agreement, the MarineMax locations in Clearwater and Miami will be authorized to perform engine maintenance and basic repairs on the boats they sell with Volvo Penta power.
“MarineMax has a reputation for exceptional customer service,” said Marcia Kull, Volvo Penta Vice President, Marine Sales for North America. “As MarineMax expands its product portfolio to include more Volvo Penta powered boats, it makes sense for them to take responsibility for basic maintenance and service for their customer base. Given their experienced and capable service technicians, it was an easy decision to offer them a servicing dealership agreement. We expect to grow this relationship to other MarineMax facilities in the future.
