(CHESAPEAKE, Va.) – May 28, 2015 – Volvo Penta of the Americas today announced the appointment of Darren Tasker as vice president for industrial sales.
In this role he will have responsibility for the power generation and off-road versatile equipment power business segments in North and Central America. He will lead the Volvo Penta industrial team in further developing the company’s growing distribution and service network in the industrial sector.
Tasker has been with Volvo Penta for more than 18 years. Prior to this appointment, he was director of industrial business in charge of developing the North American off-highway market strategy. In his previous positions, he gained extensive experience working in various industrial sales positions in Europe, including U.K. sales manager. He has an MBA degree from Middlesex University in the U.K.
