Volvo Group partners with world leading innovation platform Plug and Play

Volvo Group joins the Plug and Play Supply Chain vertical. The Supply Chain vertical was launched in Silicon Valley location in 2017 and has grown to over 40 partners from around the world. Volvo can use Plug and Play’s platform to identify what is next on the horizon for supply chain and logistics and use those technologies for sustainable growth.

Volvo’ Group’s focus is to partner with startups to co-create sustainable transport solutions in areas of logistic services, electromobility services, and shared mobility. There are many advantages for Volvo to collaborate with start-ups. Volvo Groups corporate infrastructure, network and knowledge paired with the speed, tech and talent of start-ups is the best of both worlds. Volvo Group has had an innovation lab in Silicon Valley (Hub335) for three years, and this partnership will further enhance its focus on collaboration with startups.
