Smart cities – infrastructure and transport of the future

Innovation Summit London

Innovations within transport will reshape the cities of tomorrow. Automated driving, electromobility and connected vehicles will allow for quieter, cleaner and safer megacities to grow and prosper.

As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles and a driver of innovation, the Volvo Group wants to initiate a dialogue between industry, interest groups and policymakers on how to overcome hurdles and to make sure that society can reap the benefits of innovations, such as increased transport efficiency, lower environmental impact and improved traffic safety. The summit will focus on how smart cities of the future can deliver commercially viable, safe and sustainable transport.
