Lead System Design Engineer

You will be
  • Responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical for an Visibility, Safety and drive time management to help ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.
  • Analyze technical trade-offs, determine the primary components and subsystems, identify the interfaces and collaborations between them, define Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs), guide Enablers through the Program and Solution Kanban systems, and work with Product and Solution Management, customers and Suppliers to help ensure fitness for purpose.
  • Playing a critical role in aligning teams on the ART and Solution Train to a shared technical direction and partner with those teams in elaborating the solution, validating technology assumptions, evaluating implementation alternatives, and creating the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
  • Supporting solution development by providing, communicating and evolving the broader technology and architectural view of the solution.
  • Involved in close collaboration with business stakeholders, teams, customers, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders in defining the technology infrastructure, decomposing solutions, and systems into components and subsystems, and defining and managing their interfaces and APIs.
You should have
  • PhD / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electronics, software, computer engineering (or similar) with
  • 7 + years of experience in Embedded Application SW development.
  • Experience from working in distributed automotive electrical and electronic systems
  • Experience of agile methods such as SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe framework
You should have Knowledge on
  • System engineering, including robust and reliable system design principles
  • Deep understanding of the EE system of a vehicle and sub-systems.
  • Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics architectural principles and strategies
  • Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols and communication technologies, such as CAN, Ethernet.
