“The positive development in the Volvo Group's performance continued in Q3. We delivered net sales of SEK 119.5 billion, with an organic sales growth of 7%. Vehicle sales increased by 8% and service sales grew by 5% organically. We maintained good profitability, with adjusted operating income of SEK 14.7 billion (11.7) and an adjusted operating margin of 12.3% (10.6), supported by dedicated work across the Group. Operating cash flow in the Industrial Operations improved to SEK 7.2 billion,” says Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO.

Volvo Group is creating a dedicated mining entity to strengthen its position in the global mining industry. Volvo Mining aims to bring together the Group's capabilities, expertise, and offer for mining customers under a single, integrated business structure. The plan is that Volvo Mining will sell Volvo trucks, construction equipment and autonomous solutions to mining customers and their contractors.

Integration of the Volvo VNL Autonomous powered by the Waabi Driver into Warp’s network unlocks autonomy for LTL freight segment. Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S.) and Waabi today announced the start of autonomous operation for Warp in Texas, the first customer operation in the Volvo-Waabi partnership. The Volvo VNL Autonomous powered by the Waabi Driver is now transporting freight directly to third-party facilities along the Dallas–Houston corridor. These operations will enable Warp, an open-source freight network that provides less-than-truckload (LTL) and full-truckload (FTL) freight services for carriers and shippers, to transport its customers’ goods autonomously along the corridor.

Once stripped of vegetation and scarred by some of the world’s most severe soil erosion, China’s Loess Plateau has undergone a remarkable ecological transformation. Professor Bojie Fu, one of the scientists who helped make that recovery possible, is the recipient of the 2026 Volvo Environment Prize.
