    Mack Trucks Announces Booth Lineup at World of Concrete 2024

  • ALLENTOWN, PA — (Dec. 12, 2023)— Mack Defense announced today that it has teamed with BAE Systems, a leader in heavy-duty electric propulsion, to deliver an alternative-propulsion solution for the Common Tactical Truck (CTT) prototype vehicles to the U.S. Army for testing. BAE Systems supplied its Gen3 propulsion and accessories power management systems to Mack Defense for integration on the truck variants to drastically reduce fuel demand.

  • GREENSBORO, NC (Dec. 4, 2023) – Mack Trucks announced today that Vanguard Truck Centers recently achieved Certified Electric Vehicle (EV) status at several of its locations, including in Phoenix, making it the first Mack Certified EV Dealer in Arizona. Vanguard locations in Austin and Houston, Texas are also certified. This certification enables Vanguard to service and support the Mack® LR Electric refuse truck, Mack’s first fully electric Class 8 vehicle and Mack® MD Electric medium-duty vehicle.

    Ferronordic acquired Rudd Equipment Company, Inc., one of the largest dealers of Volvo Construction Equipment in the United States with territory spanning all or parts of nine states. Rudd Equipment is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Ferronordic.

The zero-tailpipe emission vehicles are the first Class 8 battery-electric trucks in Tim Hortons’ fleet and will support the company’s sustainability targets, operating out of the distribution centres in Guelph, Ontario, and Langley, British Columbia.

    GREENSBORO, NC (Nov. 15, 2023) – Mack Trucks today announced that members of the United Auto Workers union ratified a new five-year collective bargaining agreement with the company covering about 3,900 employees at facilities in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Florida.
