Aeroxchange Strengthens Volvo Aero Services’ Repair Process

Aeroxchange, the leader in aviation supply chain management applications, has expanded their relationship with Volvo Aero Services Corp., leading provider of aftermarket services in the aviation industry. Volvo Aero Services selected Aeroxchange’s AeroRepair solution to streamline the repair (management) process. This solution will seamlessly enable end-to-end business process automation for the entire repair order lifecycle.

Albert Koszarek, President and CEO of Aeroxchange, announced “We are excited to further develop our current relationship with Volvo Aero Services.  Their integration of AeroRepair to their current SAP system will provide an increased level of automation to a traditionally manual process.  It is our goal to continue to provide innovative solutions such as this for the entire supply chain management process.”

Volvo Aero Services’ relationship with Aeroxchange began in 2001 as a subscriber to the AeroBuy module, providing their customers access to an online catalog for searching and quoting activity. This subscription introduced the ability to support full SPEC2000 two-way communication with their customers via Aeroxchange.  The recent integration to the AeroRepair module moves Volvo Aero Services another step down the path of improved e-procurement practices.

“As a leading service provider in the aftermarket, Volvo Aero Services is committed to supporting our customers and partners with a broad range of innovative technology solutions, says Hank Gibson, Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions. “Aeroxchange is a proven industry platform and will play an important role in the integration and support of our common customers.”
