The role of a Senior Buyer is accountable for managing and negotiating cost, and contract terms of a large dollar portfolio, and all of its activities; from conceptual phase, contract terms and price negotiations, to supplier performance. This also includes being an active member in the global network. The Senior Buyer role will be involved in the execution of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree, with a concentration in Business, Engineering preferred

  • Experience in Purchasing strongly preferred

  • Positive attitude and target oriented approach

  • Strong team player and the ability to take initiatives

  • Willingness to travel from occasionally to frequently based on ongoing activities

  • 3+ Years Purchasing or relevant experience

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Entrepreneurial thinking with strong relationship development skills

  • Negotiation skills and drive to look for cost improvement opportunities

  • Great communication skills and positive mindset with high energy

  • Ability to independently drive and complete tasks through project management
