Arnold Machinery Company, a Volvo Construction Equipment Dealer headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, acquires certain assets from Volvo Construction

Volvo Construction Equipment North America, Asheville, North Carolina, has completed negotiations for the acquisition of certain assets of the former Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) store in Phoenix, Arizona, by its dealer, Arnold Machinery Company. The purchase was announced in a statement by Al Richer, Chairman, Arnold Machinery Company. The customers served by the former VCES operation in Phoenix will now become part of Arnold Machinery Company’s branch network.

Arnold Machinery Company represents the complete product line of general purpose and compact construction equipment from Volvo. This includes wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, motor graders, compact wheel loaders and excavators, and skid steer and backhoe loaders. Volvo Road Machinery products previously represented at the Phoenix VCES facility will continue to be available at the same location from Arnold Machinery Company.

“The incorporation of the former VCES store and their customers as part of our dealership will be seamless and uninterrupted,” said Al Richer. “We welcome these customers to our dealership, where they will receive the very best of service, product, and support that Volvo Construction Equipment and Arnold Machinery Company have to offer.” This will result in Arnold and Volvo Construction Equipment becoming an even stronger force in this market.

The acquisition of the Volvo VCES branch by Arnold Machinery Company was effective July 9, 2009.
