Volvo Penta Launches 24/7/365 Technical Support

Dealers, Distributors and OEM Customers Now Have Round-the-Clock Access to Tech Services Department

(CHESAPEAKE, Va.) – Oct. 22, 2014 – Volvo Penta of the Americas today announced the launch of 24/7/365 technical support for its distributors, dealers and OEM customers.
 
The new 24-hour service provides instant access to Volvo Penta experts for assistance in handling technical issues for the company’s leisure marine, commercial marine and industrial products across the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
 
“At Volvo Penta, we are fully committed to providing industry-leading customer service second to none,” said Ron Huibers, president of Volvo Penta of the Americas. “We recognize that many of our dealers and OEMs offer evening and weekend service to their customers, and that our service area spans multiple time zones. Now they will have access to the same high level of factory support any time of the day or night, including weekends and holidays. The most important aspect of this service is that callers will be connected to actual technical experts and not an answering service.”
 
Volvo Penta also announced this month the opening of a new Central Parts Distribution Center in Byhalia, Miss., to provide faster and more efficient deliveries of parts to dealers, distributors and OEMs.
