Business Solutions Manager

As Business Solutions Manager you will act as Business Owner of a portfolio of Service Contract applications. You will gather business requirements and market needs and drive the continuous IT development and implementation of them. You will secure synergy between solutions and aligning all with the global preferred way of working. You will drive for innovative solutions which support not only the current business, but which keep Service Contracts relevant and adapted to the future. You will be key to ensure our business solutions continue to support the established process, but you will also question, clarify and push for adaption when necessary for business growth and market development.

In this global function you will be required to have market company contact and establish good working relationships with diverse stakeholders across all business areas and Volvo IT. You will be a critical connection between market (country) demands and what is possible and desired for each solution. With electromobility firmly entrenched in the business model you will be expected to lead, facilitate and clarify impacts of this dynamic change for the Service Contracts business.

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics or Engineering
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 4 years in a comparable business
  • First class communication skills and excellent command of the English language
  • Experience with various system landscapes & reporting tools (Mainframe, Azure, SAP, Business Objects) is preferable
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with ability to work as part of a multicultural team in a complex organization

Our organization

Volvo Trucks Service Contracts is the international center of excellence for Service Contracts. The department is responsible for the development, implementation and back-office activities related to Service Contracts for Volvo Trucks worldwide. Volvo Group offers a wide range of transport related products and services. We work closely together with sales regions globally. We’re looking for an ambitious and eager colleague to grow together with our organization. The role involves occasionally travelling (globally) and reports to the Manager Business Solutions.
