Technical Pricing & Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Technical Pricing & Business Intelligence Analyst for Service Contracts you will collaborate with many central functions and other relevant stakeholders in Volvo Trucks and Volvo Group. You will provide solid information to Volvo Trucks as well as its markets at local, regional and corporate management levels in order to enable them to take well-informed strategic decisions. The main focus will be to drive continued development of electromobility specific pricing models with education, training and roll out across the organization. You will be a key stake holder in concluding and implementing key reliability and durability figures into Service Contracts for electric trucks. You will also be a pivotal point in the rollout of Service Contracts for electric trucks by providing quotation support and revealing risk areas within electromobility projects. In this position you are keen on developments, improvements and processes where you will continuously work towards improving the statistical validity and efficiency of all modeling, projection processes and techniques.

Profile

  • A Bachelor or Masters’ degree, for example in Business Management, Economics, Automotive Engineering or Statistics;
  • At least several years of experience in a comparable business function. You are ready for a second or third step in your career;
  • Experience with reporting tools (SAP, Business Objects or Power BI) is preferable;
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with ability to work as part of a team in a complex organization;
  • First class communication skills with a good command of the English language.

Volvo Trucks Service Contracts is the international center of excellence for Service Contracts. The department is responsible for the development, implementation and back office activities related to Service Contracts for Volvo Group worldwide. Volvo Group offers a wide range of transport related products and services. We work closely together with sales regions globally. We’re looking for an ambitious and eager colleague to grow together with our organization. The role involves occasionally travelling (globally) and reports to the Manager Business Solutions.
