You start your career in the VOLVO group by this global 12-month Program which offers a mix on-the-job learning, intensive training modules and project work. Overall, you spend 75% on the job at your home site, and 25% in international training modules in Sweden, France, India and USA.

We develop the new solutions supporting the Volvo Group aftermarket business such as Diagnostics and Uptime services. You will be on the forefront of the Aftermarket group’s projects and participate early to the design, recommend and support strategic decisions affecting our products. You will work according to Scaled Agile Framework methodology (SAFe). In this environment, you will have the responsibility to manage the complete chain from development to verification and validation of diagnostic content.
In this role, you will first analyze and gather product and project information to design new diagnostic strategies with the object to maximize the vehicle uptime. You will also assist the team to create virtual test rigs and design models to automate verification and validation of diagnostic content.
WHO ARE YOU?
Your critical and personal competencies:
- MSc in Electrical, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering
- Embedded software knowledge
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Customer focus mindset
- Programming skills (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Experience with software such as CANalyzer, CANoe would be a plus
- Strong wish to work in an International /Inter-Cultural team
