Customer Solution is at the heart of our business. The mission of the Global Repair & Maintenance department is to develop as well as market services and tools that improve the uptime and total cost of ownership of Volvo Construction Equipment machines. This is to make our dealers’ and end-customers’ business more efficient and profitable.
You will be working in the Repair and Maintenance Systems team. We are responsible for the technical content of our repair and maintenance products and we develop new tools and processes in order to drive our business forward. At the same time, we are maintaining existing systems to keep the business running.
Who are you?
We are looking for a self-driven product specialist with a “can-do” attitude that is going to take good care of our new quotation and scheduling platform. In case of issues, you do not mind rolling up your sleeves to solve the problem. In order to succeed in this job, you must possess good negotiation skills and be able to communicate with internal as well as external stakeholders. You are an inspiring team player who can motivate others. Ideally, you have previous experience working in a Salesforce™ environment.
Professional Challenge description:
As part of our team, the Product Specialist Quotation Systems is responsible for collecting product requirements as well as contributing to the product roadmap. In order to do so, you work closely with the sales organization and colleagues from the Repair & Maintenance Services commercial and data teams in order to capture change needs. Furthermore, you monitor the Salesforce™ technology and formulate proposals on how Volvo CE could act.
Besides this strategic aspect, you administrate our tools and ensure that they are running by planning and developing them according to the set objectives. When new functionalities are being released, you participate in the user acceptance testing. This needs to be done in collaboration with internal and external suppliers.
You deliver 2nd line business support and communicate system releases, while tracking and identifying product defects and resolve them together with the IT maintenance organization.
Experience and Qualifications
You have a higher degree in system or business administration as well as an excellent understanding of the product management process. You are analytical and have experience in mapping and understanding processes. Doing this, you see the overall picture and never lose sight of your target.
Preferably, you possess product management experience with innovative hi-tech products. Experience of working with Salesforce™ is a high asset. You have experience in working in a geographically diverse cross-functional team. Fluent English skills both spoken and written are required; additional language skills are considered as a benefit.
