At Volvo Trucks, we’re offering you an exciting opportunity to play a crucial, customer-facing role at our new site in Reading. As a Customer Services Receptionist (CSR) you’ll be a pivotal part of our customer experience – the approachable, knowledgeable and professional face of our proud company.
You’ll guide our customers along their journey with us, developing effective relationships with them from the moment they arrive at the service department with their vehicle, right through until they depart once the job is done. You’ll be expected to proactively promote our services and products to drive labour and parts sales, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
We’ll need you to:
- Speak to customers face-to- face and over the phone
- Act as one point of contact for the customer
- Confirm details of any planned visits with customers in advance
- Plan work in to the workshop schedule
- Create job card/repair order for the work to be carried out
- Actively liaise and co-ordinate between the customer and the workshop
Who are you:
You possess strong numeracy skills and have experience when it comes to dealing directly with customers. You’ve already gained experience in parts/stock control, and are able to plan and organise well. You’re able to work with processes and policies in the workplace, and you can work confidently with in-house IT systems.
Technical information relating to Warranty and Contract is something you’re able to quickly learn and retain, and you’re also able to learn and deliver Terms and Conditions when necessary. Finally, a technical background of some sort would also be of benefit.
