Business Controller Volvo Trucks LA, Financial Planning & Performance
The Financial Planning and Performance Department within Volvo Trucks Latin America is recruiting a Business Controller in charge of Warranty activities and Business Control Support to Aftersales Department (including Spare parts and Soft products follow-up).

You will be part of a competent team of controllers located in Curitiba. You will report to the Head of Financial Planning and Performance Latin America.
Lead the warranty process in Latin America for the closing and estimate process
Responsible for warranty, campaign and technical goodwill provision and warranty surcharge management
Provide business control and analytical support for financial issues related to spare parts and soft offer products
Business Control Support for Aftersales department (including EBD Super User)
Actual and forecast follow up on Aftersales department S&A expenses
Ad hoc issues related to the above
Main interfaces are: CFOs and business controllers colleagues in the VTLA markets, ACC, Financial Reporting and Volvo Trucks HQ. Interaction with other stakeholders such as other commercial functions or GTO, GTT and GTP will also occur.
University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related fields
Experience from working within Finance - preferably within the Volvo Group Commercial area is an advantage
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Working experience of SAP R/3, BCS, Essbase or other similar accounting and financial reporting systems is an advantage
Good understanding of AB Volvo’s financial policies & reporting processes
High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Portuguese and Spanish knowledge are considered a plus
You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. It is essential that you have the drive to reach objectives and have a business oriented mindset.
You have an open and positive attitude, drive to improve, flexibility and ability to work in a proactive way on your own initiative. You have a genuine interest in our commercial business. The job requires that you create a good network within and outside of VT Sales Area Latin America; therefore your ability to communicate and to work with people on different levels in the organization is also essential.
