We are the Internal Communication & Engagement team at Volvo Trucks, part of the Global Brand, Marketing & Communication function, based in Gothenburg. We are a bunch of creative, engaged and driven people with a passion to create inspiring communication, to help strengthen our premium truck brand.
Your mission
The overall mission is to translate Volvo Trucks’ business strategy into engaging internal communication. To achieve this, you need to have a deep business understanding, be able to adjust communication to different i target groups and find new ways to spark dialogue and increase understanding of our strategy and direction.
You will have the overall project management responsibility for selected internal communication initiatives. This includes setting up communication plans, securing messages across channels, creating content, execute the plans and follow up to maximize the impact.
The role also includes work with quarterly business updates, to make sure that our colleagues are up to date with where we are heading as a company. Another part of the job is to be a strategic communication business partner to headquarter functions and to arrange Volvo Trucks' yearly leadership summit.
This is you
Most of all we value your excellent communication skills and ability to engage, motivate and inspire others – but equally important is that you also have a strategic mindset, a clear business understanding, great writing skills and that you have an open and outgoing personality. In addition, we need you to be a team player with great networking skills.
You have an academic degree within communication, marketing or similar fields – and extensive knowledge and several year's of experience in the area of strategic and operational communication, preferable from a global company.
About the job
This is a one year temporary employment due to parental leave. If possible we would like someone who is able to start August 15.
