The Volvo Group scores high in Asia on multinational ranking

In an international ranking of multinational companies in Asia the Volvo Group has performed very well. A highly contributing factor is Volvo’s continuous work with securing and improving product quality.

Every year, the noted Wall Street Journal lets hundreds of business decision makers in Asia rate the Asia’s leading companies in The Wall Street Journal Asia 200 Survey. The companies are being rated according to how well they perform in the categories Quality, Long-term vision, Innovation, Corporate reputation and Financial reputation. In an overall assessment, Volvo was ranked as number 25 among the top 100 multinational companies included in the survey. The best result for the Volvo Group was in the Quality category, as number 9 out of the 100 multinational companies.

The Volvo Group has a significant operation in several Asian countries, through its companies Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Buses, Volvo Penta, Volvo Financial Services and Nissan Diesel, with a turnover of 60 billion USD in 2008.
