The only award recipient in the Sterndrive Engines category, Volvo Penta was recognized as having achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction based on information provided by consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period from April 2010 through March 2011. Participating manufacturers must survey all new boat buyers during this period. For this reporting period, more than 40,000 consumer responses were collected.
NMMA President Thomas Dammrich will recognize Volvo Penta of the Americas President with Clint Moore attending at the Annual International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Industry Breakfast in Louisville, KY,
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. The CSI awards highlight commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as support of industry efforts to improve the consumer boating experience.
“New innovative sterndrive product technology, such as Volvo Penta’s Sterndrive Joystick and the OceanX™ drive (combining state of the art quality, sensor technology, and modern titanium ceramic coating), ensures customer’s satisfaction by exceeding their expectation experience in terms of quality, reliability and control” said Moore.
“Our independent OEM customers are integral helping us win this prestigious award for the eighth straight year, thanks to their attention to detail in the application and installation of our products.”
Moore concluded “most important are our dealers who are on the front lines of safe guarding and ensuring our mutual customer satisfaction. Without them, this award would not be possible.”
