Volvo Penta donates gensets to Pakistan

Volvo Penta donates four diesel-powered gensets to earthquake-hit Pakistan.
The earthquake in Pakistan has disabled the regular electricity supply in large areas of the catastrophe-affected country.

There is an urgent need for electrical power in the disaster region and engine-driven gensets are often the quickest method to restore electricity supply.

In cooperation with local genset manufacturers, Volvo Penta is donating four complete gensets for use in the disaster region.

The gensets will be capable of producing electricity for field hospitals and  construction sites.
