If you want to be a part of an exciting team where you can be responsible for the product management of the conventional powertrain integrated service offering for Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks, NA this might be the job for you! As a Product Manager you must understand the customer, market, business and technology requirements and have a holistic view of the end-to-end processes. This position will work closely with the other commercial owners in the Uptime and Service, Solutions & Digital IT organizations to share requirements, competitive information and coordinate project deliverables.
This Is How You Could Make an Impact: • Develop and maintain product roadmap for conventional powertrain integrated service offering including service contracts. Support product roadmap by defining product requirements and positioning based on market research, voice-of-customer, and by working directly with other internal commercial owners as well as external partners. • Participate in cross-functional teams – GTX, Business Control, Parts and Connected Vehicle Services on new truck platform to enhance and develop new integrated services. • Collaborate with Connected Vehicle Services on requirements and prioritization of connected services for conventional product line. • Develop commercialization plan for integrated service offering. This includes development of a go-to-market strategy, business model, pricing and promotion for national/fleet accounts, general retail and leasing channels. • Develop and manage competitive intelligence to ensure strong positioning of service contracts within North America. Provide competitive assessment on offering. • Manage the pricing structure of integrated service offering to drive profitable growth measured by penetration rate, adoption, usage and contribution margin. Anchor sales forecasts with Mack Trucks and VTNA. • Oversee marketing and collateral development for products and program offers to ensure value proposition is clearly communicated. Ensure material is made available in set communication channels. • Serve as the subject matter expert for integrated service offering. Provide sales support to truck sales organizations and dealers. Train Truck Sales and Service teams on product offering.

Who are you? • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field. MBA preferred. • 3-5 years’ experience in product management, R&D or technical support. Must have OEM Experience within commercial vehicles or heavy industrial equipment. • Proven record building and launching new products and programs. • Experience understanding and working with technical concepts. • Requires the mastery of standard Microsoft applications (Word, Power Point, Excel) • Possess strong computer expertise and the ability to learn new applications and technologies rapidly. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand high level and low-level business and technical concepts. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional presentation skills. • Must be able to travel for business needs (up to 25%)
