Strategic Product Planning (SPP) is a global, highly strategic and influential function within Group Trucks Technology (GTT), as we support the entire Volvo Group navigate the transformation and set the direction of a visionary and holistic product plan driving the Group’s long terms ambitions. We are passionate about defining, analyzing and translating business requirements and user needs into meaningful and desirable commercial solutions. the business environment and customer needs in which our products operate. We are now looking for a Group Manager to lead, guide, engage and support our Portfolio Intelligence team consisting of highly skilled and motivated employees.
Our global team provides data and analysis that generates business-, technology and product intelligence as well as the market and customer insights for us to make the right decisions within Group Trucks. To be successful in this role we believe that you have a great interest and knowledge in future trends within the transport industry and our customers productivity.

With your ability to drive continuous improvement and knowledge growth, you will secure that the team stay ahead of competition and that deliveries are made with precision. You fully embrace a growth mindset and can encourage others to do the same.
You hold a university degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, or a
related field. In your previous experience you have developed a good understanding of market research, competitive analysis, or related areas within a relevant industry.
We believe you come with a strong ownership mentality, you take pride in-, and celebrate together with your team during success, but you make sure to support and guide during challenging and stressful times.
Your great appetite to work collaboratively has over the years given you the experience in how you influence stakeholders at all levels.
You are someone who likes to have fun at work and makes sure everyone always feels welcome and included.

This position will be based in Lyon, France, with business travelling expected on occasional basis.
