Senior HR Manager - Renault Trucks Market Germany
Summary:
Your primary objective as HR Manager is to drive the company's strategic and operational activities forward. You will also be responsible for supporting Renault Trucks' commercial activities in the marketplace and promoting and living the Renault-strategy. You will implement these tasks by living effective leadership and coordination based on the well-known Volvo Group values.
Within the Renault Trucks organisation, you will be able to identify, analyse and develop the future key qualifications and skills of your employees. As a result, you are also responsible for ensuring and increasing the motivation and loyalty of Renault Trucks employees. You will also support Service Delivery to ensure the development of an efficient and effective HR function.
Responsibilities:
  • Translate Market Business Strategies into HR strategies, plans & actions
  • Ensure the implementation of Volvo and Renault Trucks Europe HR-strategy, policies and initiatives to the need of the market
  • Management and development of the human resources department on the basis of a leadership that is shaped by Volvo values
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Monitoring and proactive action in all aspects of personnel planning
  • Supporting and advising line managers in making decisions on HR issues and labour law issues
  • Support of executives in the competence development process to secure the current and future need for competent and committed employees
  • Monitor and evaluate HR and competence KPI’s and provide quality management information upon request
  • Support change management activities

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, talent management, business or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as HR-Senior Manager, Senior Line Management or other leading HR functions
  • Broad-based HR experience covering functional areas including recruitment, competence development, employee relations and performance management
  • Excellent knowledge of German labour law
  • Experience with project management, change management
  • Team player and relationship builder who works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues, across functions
  • Preferably experience in the retail business and / or within the area of commercial vehicles
  • Fluency in English
