Volvo Penta to supply engines to Dennis Eagle

Volvo Penta has signed a contract for delivery of diesel engines to the British manufacturer of refuse trucks Dennis Eagle.
With the new diesel engines from Volvo Penta, Dennis Eagle’s product program will meet the requirements of Euro 4 – the most stringent emission limits thus far adopted in the European automotive industry – which become effective in October 2006.

In addition to engine deliveries, the contract will also include service and spare parts supplies through Volvo Truck’s European service and dealer network.

The deliveries will amount to about 900 diesel engines each year. The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 100 M annually.
